Welcome! This blog supports a project I started in 2011. I’m going to leave a piece of art in a public place. The motivation for this project is that I feel that art should be available to everyone. If you find one of the artworks, I would love to hear from you. Please post a comment and let me know if you are going to keep the artwork or pass it on?

Collages #7 and #8
Collage #7 and #8 will be left somewhere in Palm Springs, CA this weekend. More collages usingbleeding tissue paper but this time I've incorporated a bit of machine stitching.
I found collage #7 at the top of the mountain in Palm Spring. I loved it from the minute I saw it, and loved it even more after I read the sticker. I think this is a fantastic idea! I am from Covington, Georgia, about 40 miles east of Atlanta. I plan to keep and enjoy the piece for awhile and then I will leave it in one of our local tourist sites. I'll post when and where I do. Thank you.
Hi Lee Ann - I'm excited that you found Collage #7 and love it! It's cool to know that my artwork is traveling all the way to Georgia. I look forward to hearing where you going to leave when you're ready to pass it on. Thank you for posting a comment. It made my day!
Mia, I'll be in La Quinta! Any hints on where to see these pieces? hugs, Connie Rohman
ReplyDeleteOne was left at the aerial tramway and the other at Palm Springs Art Museum both today, 3/8. Let me know if you find one!
